This event celebrates the arrival of Andrew Reeder, First Territorial Governor at the Territorial Capital settlement of Pawnee near Fort Riley in June of 1855.
Activities include period character narratives, a re-enactment of the First Territorial Legislature, pioneer and military camps frontier music performances, appropriate food and drink, and children’s activities throughout the day.
